Our name is derived from a beautiful love story,

and we all love a good love story...

A Choctaw woman, an English trader, an improbable affair, and a daring escape.

A race against all odds for her to save him from a Cherokee attack.

This is the stuff of legends, a legend born in South Carolina, like us.

Our original distillery rests on a piece of the very land that the woman, Isaqueena, raced across to save the love of her life. And like her, we're driven by a great passion: a labor of love to create the best local spirits that are nothing short of legendary.

Meticulously watched over, nurtured over time, at Six & Twenty, we pour our heart and soul into every batch, barrel, and bottle, making our spirits crafted by hand & heart!

April Johnson

Sales director

April received her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Government from George Mason University near her hometown of DC but quickly decided that field wasn’t for her. She began working for a toy company and discovered her love of working with people and her aptitude for sales. While she enjoyed working with children’s products, she decided she’d like to try her hand at selling something for the 21+ crowd. She has spent the last 4 years with Six & Twenty working her way up to her current position as the head of sales. She loves traveling and sampling new food and spirits; things her position provides in spades. She has also recently started rollerblading in her free time.
